- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪First I was told I had a cavity three years ago. I decided to get a second opinion. Two other dentists examined me and neither found a cavity. My decision was a direct result of Dr. Nguyen telling my wife to get three consecutive crowns - more than $1,000 each out of pocket - around the same time. In addition, my wives crowns continue to fall out. Each time, it's another trip to Dr. Nguyen and another $800 - $1,200.
